Summer 2010 schedule is now available on myNKU!  Your registration window is not yet open, but you CAN take advantage of the great features in myNKU to get ready for your priority registration window! Search and review courses, add them to your cart, check to see if you meet pre-requisites, and more.

1) Log on to myNKU @ https://mynku.nku.edu (Or select myNKU from the Quick Links menu on the NKU home page)
2) Click Academics
3) Click Online Registration
4) Select the Academic Period and click Start
5) Review and accept the Student Statement of Obligation (A message will display, explaining that you can only add courses to your registration cart at this time.)
6) Click the Search tab and search using the simple or advanced search features!
7) When you find a class you like, just add it to your registration cart!

Remember... once courses are in your cart you can:
 -Change courses
 -Remove courses
-Check to see if you meet the registration requirements course(s) in your cart!
Important note: Placing courses in your cart does not guarantee a seat in the course!
You do not have a seat in the class until you actually complete the registration process.

Once your registration window opens, you can return to myNKU, click the Registration Cart tab, and select Register to complete the registration process.

Tip: Have a hold? Review your holds on the My Records tab. Be sure to contact the issuing department and arrange to have your holds cleared before your registration window opens!

For tutorials and quick reference cards and other helpful resources on using myNKU registration features, visit the IT myNKU site at http://it.nku.edu/mynku/.

*About the myNKU and Norse Express Degree Audits
You may want to review your myNKU degree audit as you prepare your Program Certification forms and check for completion of General Education and General University requirements.  The Information Tab of the myNKU degree audit provides an academic work overview that can be sorted by course name, academic year, etc.  Tutorials for myNKU degree audit are available on the For Students section of http://it.nku.edu/mynku.  Reminder: The degree audit is an advising tool; it is not an official verification tool.  The Office of the Registrar uses the Program Certification as the official documentation of major, minor, and area of concentration requirements and carefully reviews your general education and general university requirements.
